Sample Schedule

Below is a sample of a typical three-day schedule for OEE. Times and number of classes offered many vary between schools and length of stay.

Day One

  • 10:30-11:00 Arrive

What to Bring

Please keep in mind that you will be outside for a significant portion of the day. Be sure to bring clothing that will keep you warm and dry while outside. It is essential that extra socks and clothes are sent in the winter time. Clothes should be layered to help keep warm during the winter.

Is there a place nearby if we need to pick up more supplies?
Yes, Wal Mart and Osco are nearby within 5 miles

What is the capacity for each of the dorms?

When is the Declaration of Attendance (D.O.A.) due?
At least 6 weeks before your school’s trip.

Can I turn in my D.O.A. without knowing the exact number of participants?
Yes. Fill out the D.O.A. to the best of your ability and let your OEE Coordinator know if the numbers (or anything else) change.

If our school is an Option A or Option B, when do you need our schedule?
At least 6 weeks before your school’s visit.

If our school is an Option C, when will we get a copy of our schedule?
Your OEE Coordinator will get this information to you about 4 weeks prior to your visit (after we have received your D.O.A. and you have answered any questions that might have come up).

Will you supply equipment for the classes our teachers teach?
Some equipment is provided but you need to request that information when you turn in your D.O.A.

Where do the buses park to load and unload students and/or luggage?
All buses unload in front of dining hall.

Is a DVD player available?
Yes, most TV’s are equipped with both a DVD player and VCR.

Can our staff leave campus at any time?
It is necessary to have at least one staff member from each school on campus at all times in case an emergency arises.

In case of an emergency, whom do I call?
Each building leader is given a card with emergency numbers.
