25-minimum capacity is 15 ACTIVITY CENTER.......This building complex provides groups with a large all-purpose room accommodating up to 200 people 31'x65' and an Arts & Crafts Room 25'x28. The Activity Center is located in the lower part of camp with a scenic view of the Fox River and a large playing field. There is a long covered porch that provides protected outdoor activity space on rainy days. OUTDOOR AREAS.......YMCA Camp Algonquin has several level grassy play areas that are maintained for program use. Our 116 acre site is woven with hiking and nature trails that give access to the camp's natural wooded beauty. The Meadows is a large tree-lined play area perfect for games by day and campfires and star-gazing by night. We have six outdoor fire-rings for campfires, stocked with wood and ready for your use. Our Scout Trail zigzags up the creek ravine and includes interpretive programs designed to reveal its natural secrets. The Riverfront is home to beaver, woodchucks, ducks, and birds and is a fascinating resource for nature study. Program Equipment- All items listed below must be requested prior to your visit.
